Question.3675 - I have been teaching online for several years now, and all-in-all, I really enjoy it. I think the online classroom can be a very effective way of learning. One of the downsides of the online classroom, however, is not having the ability to have deep face-to-face conversations about certain topics. Fremont High School is an example of one of those topics. The essay written by Kozol is absolutely FULL of relevant issues! And these are the sort of issues that make for wonderful classroom discussions... But we don't have the classroom, so I'm hopeful that we can use this week's discussion board as a good substitute.
