Your Answer: I learned from this week is that living things are made up of different kinds of cells. Biomolecules are the most important molecules in our bodies. They are responsible for the metabolic activities in our body. There are two subtypes of biomolecules: Macromolecules: Proteins, nucleic acids (RNA and DNA), carbohydrates and fats. Micromolecules: Vitamins, minerals.? ? Question 2 How?did you learn this week? Through activities, discussions and quizzes I learned about different biomolecules.? ? Your Answer: The important vocabulary words for this week are absorption, active transportation, biosynthesis, cell wall, cellulose. They are important functions or activities of our body. ? Asynchronous courses are tricky because I want you to collaborate with your group, but I need to make sure that you are able to complete your assignment without waiting for a group member that may be on a different schedule. As such, I provide discussion boards and other types of collaborative experiences, but I do encourage you to establish dialogue with your group outside of those activities.
